Over the years, as we worked with clients and their marketing initiatives we started to see a pattern appear in small to mid size organizations.  In a wide variety of industries, we determined that in order to make the most of the client's marketing spend, we needed to review and revise many of their underlying business systems.

We noticed that businesses built by very creative and talented people with an emphasis on delivering problem solving ideas were frequently built on accidental or convenient foundations and, consequently, were not sustainable or  scalable.  

 

Consider cash flow, customer service, supply chain, fulfillment, management reporting, facilities, resources and team culture; without solid systems and fine tuning of these back end elements, the effectiveness of the marketing and the return on investment was just to hard to measure accurately - Many clients were not seeing sales and profits increase in proportion to their marketing efforts.

Sure, we could generate leads and prospects... but how did these translate to con- versions, repeat business,  referrals and overall growth or expansion of the organization?

And so it was that Curious Monkey "Marketing" became Curious Monkey "Management". We began implementing a comprehensive and holistic approach to business building and growth solutions.
